Kenneth Ray Harrison, Sr.

Kenneth Ray Harrison, Sr., passed away at his home on Saturday, November 14, 2015. He was surrounded by his family, friends, and wonderful staff members of Alpha Omega Hospice. 

Kenneth was born on March 29, 1952, in Houston, Texas. He and his wife moved to the Weatherford area in 2010, where he worked at Bell Helicopter. They were members at Trinity Church of Weatherford. He will be remembered for his wit and sense of humor. 

He loved walking the dogs, Sadie and Sydney, at Lake Weatherford. He was a wonderful man who will be dearly missed. 

Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Marie Morris of Houston, Texas; stepmother, Mary Jo Harrison of Georgetown, Texas; and his sister, Georgia Gail Harrison of Escondido, California. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Harrison of Weatherford, Texas; his children: Kenny Harrison and his wife, Natalee, of Tallahassee, Florida; Celeste Wernsman and her husband, Zachary, of Escondido, Califoornia; and Thomas Gorman III and his wife, Patty, of Busong, South Korea; his father, George Harrison of Georgetown, Texas; his stepbrother, Gary Harrison, and his wife, Sandy, of Palmer, Texas; his brother-in-Christ, Greg Gunta and his wife, Tamara, of Weatherford, Texas; and his sister-in-Christ, Kathy Pickering of Weatherford, Texass. 

His family is grateful that Kenneth is no longer suffering and is in Heaven with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

There will be private memorial service held later this week. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, Texa.
