L. A. Shropshire

L. A. Shropshire, 95, passed away Friday, June 26, 2009 in a local hospital.
Mr. Shropshire worked for Bell Helicopter. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge / Phoenix No. 275, American Legion post 163 and Veterans of Foreign Wars post 4746.
A grandson, Isaac Barton Johnson, preceded him in death.
Survivors; son, Talbert Johnson Jr. of Weatherford, and his children, Celiena Lavurne Johnson of Las Vegas Nevada, Jeniena Earl Johnson Bjork and husband Jeff of El-Cajon California and Doriena Jewel Johnson of Santee California; son, Lynn Ray Johnson and wife, Linda Ann of Weatherford and their children; Kelly Lynn Johnson Talley and husband Jimmy of Panama City, Florida, Jennifer Robin Johnson Coffey of Fort Worth, Amy Sue Hairston Hull and husband Lonnie of Weatherford, Robert Michael Hairston and wife, Brandi of Burleson and Eric David Hairston and wife Kathy of Weatherford; great grandchildren, Taylor and Joshua Phelps, Colby Martin, Caleb Coffey, Hope Talley, Patrick Lindsey and Gracie Talley, Kaci and Jake Hull, Zane and Gunner Hairston and Aaron and Devon Hairston.
Service: 1:00 PM, Tuesday in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation is from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bluebonnet Hills.
