Lafreda Estelle Walker

LaFreda Estelle Walker, 63 of Weatherford, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 in a Fort Worth Hospital.  LaFreda was born October 18, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas. She worked for the City of Fort Worth for 29 years and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Fort Worth. LaFreda was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Hazel Walker and niece Pamela Barksdale. She is survived by her sister: Elizabeth Nix and husband Corkey of Weatherford, niece: Teresa Clark and husband Randy of Oklahoma, nephew: Richard Kennington of Weatherford, great nieces and nephews: Tyler Kennington and Brayden Kennington, Noel Barksdale, Andrea and Taylor Barksdale, Kara Barksdale and Kristin Barksdale. Graveside service 10:00 a.m. Friday at Greenwood Community Cemetery.  Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
