Landon Tyler Hamp, loving husband, father, son, and friend, passed from this life on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at the age of 34. Tyler was born October 31, 1987, in Soda Springs, Idaho, to Jason Dale Hamp and Laura Ann (Westerberg) Hamp.
Tyler attended Westminster college in Salt Lake City, Utah where he studied aviation, logging his first solo flight on October 8, 2006. Tyler also attended Davis Applied Technology College in Kaysville, Utah where he studied and received certifications in the Diesel/Heavy Duty Technology program. He always strived to grow and learn more.
Tyler loved being the best at his job, was a hard worker and was known for always helping others. Tyler started and operated his own transport and mobile diesel repair businesses. He was passionate about his many hobbies and loved raising honeybees and harvesting honey. Tyler was an avid outdoorsman who received great fulfillment hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling. He enjoyed snow machining, riding his motorcycles and ATV’s. Tyler was always ready for a new adventure and lived life to the fullest.
Tyler is survived by his beloved wife, Devin Rae (Jensen) Hamp of Millsap, Texas; daughter, Payzley Sage Hamp; parents, Jason and Laurie Hamp of Ponchatoula, Louisiana; sister, Tanesha (Cody) Orr of Logan, Utah; two nieces and numerous loving family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
