Larry Don Phelan

Larry Don Phelan, 73, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, surrounded by family in Dallas.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Harmony Baptist Church. Interment: Bethel Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. Larry Don Phelan was born Jan. 13, 1945, son of the late Earl Manning and Sylvia Gwen Mitchell Phelan. He served honorably in the United States Army and made his career as an airplane mechanic with Lockheed Martin and retired after 28 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed woodworking, cars and trucks, and carpentry. Larry Don was a member of Harmony Baptist Church most of his life as well as Phoenix Lodge #275. Larry Don was preceded in death by his wife, Beth; his parents; and sister, Nona Beth Phelan. Survivors include his sons, Kevin Phelan of Dallas and Scott Phelan and wife, Mandy, of Canyon Lake; grandchildren, Cooper Phelan and Peyton Phelan; numerous cousins; and a host of loving friends and church family.
