Larry Duwayne Hamilton

Larry Duwayne Hamilton, 75, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. He was born September 16, 1947, in Weatherford, Texas to Charles Elwood Hamilton, Sr. and Nanette (Shelby) Hamilton. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a family-oriented man and adored his wife, Rebecca Wimberley, affectionately known as Becky; together they had two children, Krysti and Eric. Larry was a former truck driver, owner of Hamilton Automotive, and he retired from a career in the oil and gas industry as a Production Supervisor. He enjoyed trips to Winstar, watching Fox News, and loved spending time with his dog, Taco. Larry dearly loved his family and friends and will be missed by all.

Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Becky Hamilton; parents, Charles and Nanette Hamilton; and brothers, Scott Hamilton and Charles E. Hamilton, Jr.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Krysti Loggan; son, Eric Hamilton and wife, Christy; three grandchildren, Parker, Mason, and Skylar; two great grandchildren, Hayes and Kenley; and sister, Beverly Bradley.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 12, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. A private graveside service will be held at East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford, Texas, officiated by Eric Hamilton.
