Larry E Alton

Larry Alton, age 73, went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2016. He was born April 6, 1943, in Peoria, IL, to Carlisle and Ruby Hailey Alton. Larry served in the United States Air Force and was a pipe fitter for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents and sons, Christopher Alton and Thomas Black.
Larry is survived by his wife, Caryn Egnew Alton; daughters, Tammy Black and Amanda Summerville and husband Josh; grandchildren, Stephen and Christy Freeman, Melissa and Michael Kelly, Sarah Watson, Katelan Watson, Joseph and Crystal Watson, Addison Alton; great-grandchildren, Max and Michael Kelly, Paityn Freeman; brother, Terry Alton and wife Marsha; brother-in-law, John Egnew; special friend, Steve Freeman as well as many other friends and family.
A memorial service will be held 6 p.m., Wednesday, August 3 at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel.
