Laura Nell Ferguson, 86, of North Richland Hills, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 5, 2021, in a Fort Worth Hospital after a short fight with pancreatic cancer. She was born at home November 25,1934, in Weatherford, Texas to Roy H. and Thelma Floyd Glenn. Laura was an audit and analyst specialist for Lockheed Martin for 60 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, working puzzles, beachcombing, square dancing, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and their wives, Floyd and Elizabeth Glenn, Deane and Bernice Glenn, and David Glenn; great grandchildren, Blake and Amari; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Laura is survived by her daughter, Dianna Fisk and husband, Kurt of North Richland Hills; son, Danny Hardy of North Richland Hills; sister, June Butler of Oklahoma; brother, James Glenn and wife, Dorothy of Weatherford; sister-in-law, Jeanette Glenn of Mesquite; grandchildren, Stephanie Frei and husband, Thomas of Ft Worth, Ashley Westmoreland and husband, Aaron of Fort Worth, Justin Fisk and wife, Kylei, of the United States Space Force, and Dana Palmer and husband, Mikael of Haltom City; eight great grandchildren with one on the way as well as a host of friends.
Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, with interment to follow at Spring Creek Cemetery.
