Laurie Gaye McBride

Laurie Gaye McBride, 56, of Weatherford passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at her residence. Funeral service: 2 p.m, Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Zion Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m, Friday at the funeral home. Laurie was born May 1, 1961 in Post, Texas. She was a food service manager, managing several Dairy Queens. Laurie was a member of The Church in Peaster, an avid bird watcher, a shopaholic and enjoyed going to garage sales. Laurie was known as a second mother to many in Weatherford and Dublin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Gloria Braddock. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Ed McBride; four biological children; seven stepchildren; two sisters and 32 grandchildren.
