Laverne Hart

Laverne Hart, 89, of Weatherford passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at a local nursing home. She was born April 20, 1928 in Farmersville, Tx. Laverne was a member of Brock Baptist Church. She was a published writer. She published 4 childrens books, wrote for the Southern Baptist Sunday School Board, and was a free lance writer. Laverne was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Hart and son, Danny Hart.
Survivors include her son, Alan Hart and grandsons, Michael and Benji Hart.
Visitation is 7-9 pm Friday evening at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 2 pm, Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Brock Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Brock Cemetery.
