Lavona Beatrice Nash

Lavona was born on April 8, 1928, near Vinson, Oklahoma, to G. C. and Velma Milam.  She married Truett Nash in October 1947 and together had two children, Faye and Glenn.  Lavona was a long-time member of Hilltop Baptist Church in Weatherford and was an avid animal lover.   Most of all, Lavona cherished time spent with her family – particularly her grandchildren.  
Lavona is survived by her children, Faye(Phil) Cabibi of Weatherford and Glenn (Debbie) Nash of Weatherford;  grandchildren, Angie Rudolph, Brad Nash, Byron Nash, and Bubba Wright; 15 great- grandchildren; and by her siblings, Roy and Lou Milam.
In addition to her parents, Lavona was preceded in death by husband, Truett.

Graveside committal services will be held at 11:00, on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Johnson Cemetery.   Memorials may be made either to the local Weatherford Animal Shelter or to a charity of your choice.
