Lee Kay Murray, age 68, peacefully departed this life on Friday, September 6, 2024. Born on January 26, 1956, in Bridgeport, Texas, to Richard Walker and Doris Raye (Walters) Walker, Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree and had a passion for teaching Kindergarten. She loved spending time outdoors, gardening, swimming, and visiting Marco Island, Florida, for two weeks each year. She also enjoyed playing with her beloved dog.
In her leisure time, Lee delighted in watching movies, cheering on Rafael Nadal in tennis, supporting Longhorn football, and reading inspirational books. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family.
Lee was preceded in death by her parents, R.K. and Raye Walker of Annetta, Texas, and her brother, Ken Ray Walker of Weatherford, Texas.
She is survived by her sister, Jan Walker Pearson of Weatherford, Texas; her nephews, Dallas Walker and his wife, Jessica, Grant Walker, and Austin Pearson; her niece, Meagan Pearson Taylor and her husband, Brian; her great-nephews, Miles Taylor and Aiden Walker; and her great-niece, Julia Walker.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 28, 2024. For details regarding the location, please contact the family directly.
