Leona Lucille Britton

Leona Lucille Britton, age 86, passed away Wednesday, August 06, 2014 in a Weatherford nursing center.  Leona was born February 29, 1928 in Weatherford where she was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Britton was a homemaker and a member of Tin Top Church of Christ. She was an artist and loved to paint landscapes, she loved R.V. traveling and loved to sew. Leona is preceded in death by her husband Warren Harding Britton. Survivors: Daughter, Becky Clark and husband David of Granbury, son, Jerry Britton and wife Sherry of Blanket, TX,   sisters, Katherine Henderson of Weatherford, Thelma Mills of Danville, Kentucky, brother, George Berry of Weatherford, three grandchildren, Sean Gendron and wife Heather, Jennifer Britton, Joshua Britton and wife Stacy, four great grandchildren.
 

Funeral: 10 am Friday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in Memory Gardens, Visitation 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
