Leslie Anne Laramee, age 38, passed from this life on Thursday, June 29, 2023. She was born December 19, 1984, in Farmington, Minnesota to Wayne Laramee and Vicky (Sumpter) Laramee. Leslie was a graduate of Millsap High School where she was involved in 4H and FFA, and was a previous Member of NCHA Youth and APHA youth. She led the horse judging team to 1st place in the state and qualified in Nationals, winning the APHA Senior Youth National Cutting Championship she received a scholarship for Horse Judging to West Texas A&M. Leslie worked as a Bartender and Waitress for Boo Ray's of New Orleans, Flames Steakhouse, and most recently, Beefmaster Steakhouse in Weatherford. She attended church at Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church. Leslie's adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Leslie is survived by her mother, Vicky Lynn Laramee and fiancé, Jerry W. Butler of Lipan, Texas; father, Wayne Douglas Laramee of Weatherford, Texas; sister, Brooke Rogers of Fargo, North Dakota; niece, Elizabeth Rogers; nephew, Matthew Rogers; extended Laramee family members of Canada and Sumpter family members of North Dakota.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 6, 2023, at the Bosley Cemetery, near Santo, Texas, officiated by James Johnson.
A time of visitation is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
