Lila "Jane" Williams

Lila “Jane” Williams, 89, of Granbury, passed away on late Sunday, June 9, 2019, in Fort Worth. A graveside committal service will be held at 10 A.M., on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at DFW National Cemetery, 2200 Mountain Creek Parkway, in Dallas.

Jane was born on January 2, 1930, in Pelham County, Georgia, to Hershel and Orene Cook. She married Perry L. Williams, Jr., on August 10, 1946 and together had 4 children. She will be remembered for being a ‘workaholic’ and also enjoyed shopping. Most of all, Jane will affectionately be remembered for her loving, caring and giving, personality and for spending time with her beloved family and her dogs.

Jane is survived by her children, Sharon and husband Vonnie Doss, Sandra and husband Robert Perdue, Tonya Williams, and Pete and wife Barbara Williams; by 10 grandchildren; 22 great and great- great grandchildren; and by her siblings, Martha Glover and Hershel Cook.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Williams in 2003; her grandson, Robby Perdue in June 2019; and by her sister, Clara Forbes in 2011.
