Linda Boyett

Linda Boyett, 69, of Weatherford passed away Tuesday, March 01, 2011.  Linda was born January 1, 1942 at home in Nashville, Arkansas to Gladys Verna and Walter Ray Hedrick.
Mrs. Boyett was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a Sunday school teacher at previous churches she attended..  She enjoyed baking bread, making cakes and bringing them to friends and family.  She was a talented gospel singer.
Linda was preceded in death by a brother, Don Hedrick and her parents.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Ray Page and staff of the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders for their care and concern during her illness.
Survivors include her husband, Rick; children, Steffanye Baxley, Eric Rowden and daughter, Ashleigh, Laurye  Stewart and husband, Rob and Austin Boyett; ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two brothers, Steve Hedrick and wife Sandra of Hooker, Oklahoma and Jones Hedrick and wife, Carolyn of Panhandle, Texas.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011, at 2 pm in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Visitation is Friday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.  Interment will be in the Central Cemetery.
