Linda Kay Green, 76, departed from this life on Thursday, November 9, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Linda was born August 14, 1947, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Julian Whitehead and Edith Lancaster Witty. She was predeceased by her infant child, parents, and siblings.
Linda was of the Baptist faith and worked for Cook Children's Medical Center as an insurance collector for 38 years. Following retirement, she enjoyed watching television and shopping at Walmart, and especially enjoyed spending quality time with her husband of 54 years, Clarence "Gene" Eugene Green of Willow Park, Texas. Linda will be remembered for her bold personality and strong love. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Linda was the proud mom of her daughter, Valory Kizer and husband, Kent of Willow Park, Texas, and son, Christopher Green of Granbury, Texas; as well as being grandmother to Kendall Sifuentes and husband, Frankie, Kelsey Green, Kori Bullington and husband, Corbin, Kamryn Kizer, and Jared Green and wife, Harley; and to her four great grandchildren; she is also survived by her dear friend who is more like a sister, Kaylynn Hart.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Annetta Cemetery, in Annetta, Texas. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
