Linda Susan Dodson

Linda Dodson passed away Friday, July 18, 2014 in Weatherford.  Born Linda Susan Walker, November 27, 1949 in Chicago IL to Clyde D. and Dolores Walker; Linda was one of four children.  Linda was a creative person, she loved crafts and bingo.  Woodworking was a passion; she really enjoyed wood carving.  Linda was a motorcycle enthusiast.  She loved her Harley Davidson motorcycle.  Linda met and married Lemuel “Wayne” Dodson; they were together for 17 years before his death separated them.  Together they raised their children and enjoyed their grandchildren.
Linda leaves behind her daughters Angela Sanborn and husband Heath, Sara Jones, Julie Landers and Steven Bell; her son Daniel Rogers; grandchildren Heather Sanborn, Jason Dodson, Dustin Sanborn, Trevor Skelli, Kasey Jones, Tanner Dodson, Haylee Sanborn, Rachael Jones, Austin Bell, Darrin Bell and two other grandchildren in California; great grandchild Ryott Dennis; mother Dolores Yoder; brother Glenn Walker and wife Sandy; sister Sherri Walker and sister in-law Sharon Walker.  Linda was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Dodson, son Jason Dodson, father Clyde Dodson and brother Dale “Dooner” Walker.


A memorial service will be Saturday July 26, 2014 at Crossroads Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m.
