Linda Louise Welborn

  Linda Louise Welborn, age 93, passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was born on July 29, 1932, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Robert H. Sprowls and Lora (Puryear) Sprowls. Linda married the love of her life, Albert L. Welborn, and together they raised three children: Robert, Cathryn, and Nancy. 

  She dedicated many years of service to Parker County Auto Registration, retiring in 1996. Linda was a member of Grace Baptist Church and found great joy in crocheting, creating beautiful pieces for her loved ones. 

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. Welborn; son, Robert L. Welborn; parents, Robert and Lora Sprowls; and sister, Rita Sue Ruby Sprowls. 

  Linda leaves behind a loving legacy, survived by her daughters, Nancy Hamilton of Millsap, Texas, and Cathryn Welborn of Weatherford, Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Linda’s warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Grace Baptist Church, 1300 N. Rusk St., Weatherford, Texas, 76086. A graveside inurnment will be held at Poolville Cemetery. 

  The funeral chapel is not involved in the service.
