Lois Jean Hicks

Lois Jean Hicks, passed away at the age of 83 on December 21, 2016 after a courageous 18 year battle with Alzheimer's. She was born to Hoyt Wilmot and Mildred Marie Allen Thames, on April 16, 1933, in Bryan, Texas. Lois was the oldest, and last living, of the four Thames sisters. The family takes comfort knowing they are all together again. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Wayne Hicks.

Lois is survived by her three children, Lori Mauldin, Michael Mauldin and wife Susan, Brian Mauldin and wife Vi; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 pm, Tuesday, December 27 at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel.
