Lois M Richards

Lois M. Richards, 83, of Weatherford passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 in a Fort Worth hospital. Lois was born November 24, 1928 in Hollis, Oklahoma to Millard and Lula Mae Hawkins. She was a wonderful homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Lois enjoyed sitting on the porch with her family watching the hummingbirds and her grandchildren play, as well as gazing at the flowers in her yard. She devoted her life to her family making her the best mother and grandmother to them. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Dan Richards in June 2011, her son Dale Richards on March 6, 2012 and two brothers and two sisters. Survivors: children: Melinda Richards, Don and Georgia Richards, Cathy and Eddie Baker, Deanie Richards, Drew and Janet Richards; other mothers of her grandchildren, Deborah Oaks, Sheri Winblood and Kathi Richards; sister, Joann Jones and 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

Funeral: 10 a.m, Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Greenwood Baptist Church with
interment to follow in Greenwood Community Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8
p.m, Monday at Galbreaith Pickard. Memorials: American Kidney Foundation
or the American Heart Association.
