Lois O. Day, 86, formally of Denver City passed away Monday February 13, 2017 in Weatherford, Texas. She was born July 31, 1930 in New Mexico to O.O. and Lois McCray Shoemaker. Lois was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and was a member of The Cowboy Church in Denver City. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Samuel E. Day, daughter, Priscilla Gonzalez and husband David; sisters, Josephine Ward, Ora Peoples and Barbara Wagner; grandchildren, Cindy Riley and husband Kevin and Jerry Walker; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Brooklyn and Clayton.
