Lorene “Nannie” Koennecke, 78, of Bluffton, passed away peacefully, Monday, January 11, 2010. Lorene was born November 25, 1931 in Llano, Texas. She was a homemaker, member of the Catholic Religion and a retired medication aide. Lorene loved hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, her hot breakfasts and enchiladas will be most remembered. She will be dearly missed. Her husband, Fred Koennecke and daughter, Linda DeSpain Edwards precede her in death.
Survivors: Daughters; Frances Walker and husband Lonnie of Weatherford, Lisa Hanson and husband Danny of Hudson Oaks, son; Mark Scott and wife Kaylynn of San Saba, brother; Marvin Light of Burnet, Texas, 10 grandchildren, Natalie Reeves, Dennis Skinner, Laura Amthor, Mark Scott, Jr., Michael DeSpain, Crissy Thornton, Lacy Alaniz, Steven Sopp, Chaley McMinn and Chelsey Johanson, 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was very loved by all.
Funeral service 10:00 am Thursday, January 14, 2010 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation 6-8 pm Wednesday at Galbreaith Pickard. Interment will follow at 4:00 PM in Six Mile Cemetery in Llano, Texas
