Lori Denise (Cremeen) Tollett passed from this life on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 55 years old.
Lori was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on July 1, 1968, to Maybelle Lynn Cremeen and Jimmy Richard Cremeen. She graduated from Weatherford High School in 1985 and attended Weatherford College where she earned an Associate’s Degree. She married the love of her life, Dennis Dee Tollett, on July 11, 1986, in Weatherford, Texas, where they made their home and family. Together they formed DT Utilities, a successful underground utility construction company in Weatherford. Lori also worked as a Legal Assistant to John Westhoff with Borden & Westhoff for 37 years.
Lori is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, Dennis Tollett; her beloved son, Colton Tollett and wife, Kristin; her beloved daughter, Chelsea (Tollett) Ortega and husband, Logan; and her cherished grandchildren, Stratton Tollett, Ezekiel Ortega, Priscilla Ortega and Abigail Tollett, all of Weatherford. Lori is also survived by her parents, Lynn and David Smith of Weatherford, and Jim and Linda Cremeen of Crowley; her sister, Lisa Simons and husband, Terry of Palo Pinto; her mother-in-law, Wilma Tollett of Weatherford; her sister-in-law, Debbie Lee and husband, Terry of Brock; her grandmother, Joann Windom of Fort Worth; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 19, 2024. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Both will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas. A private burial will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Bissell Chapel Cemetery, in Newhope, Arkansas.
Lori was a dedicated supporter for juvenile diabetes awareness in hopes that a cure would be found to help children living with Type 1 diabetes like her precious grandson, Stratton.
