Louis Leal, Sr.

Louis Leal, Sr., 94, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022. He was born February 28, 1927 in Seguin, Texas to Jesus and Rafaela Leal. He worked as a finish painter for Lockheed Martin, from where he retired. Louis was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and a World War II Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Soila Arocha Leal, and his 2nd wife, Pauline Cortez Leal. 

Louis is survived by his children, Louis Leal, Jr. and wife, Maxine, Ernest Leal and wife, Jackye, and Albert Leal and wife, Linda, and step-son, Ricky Cortez and wife, Lynn; grandchildren, Lisa & Mark Bruton, Susie & Jeff Woodard, Tracy & Jason Richards, Rosemary & David Parmer, Ernest Leal Jr., Ana-Leah & Nathan Harmon, Levi Louis & Catelynn Leal, and Micah Leal, Mark Cortez and Lori Crepps; siblings, Ralph Leal, Lucia and Elisaeo Leal, as well as numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation: 6-8 pm, Monday, February 7, 2022 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
Funeral service: 10 am, Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral with interment to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery.
