Maggie Brock Curtis

Maggie Curtis passed away Sunday, July 20 at the age of 80. She was born in Houston, Texas on September 7, 1933 to Raymond and Jessie Brock. As a lifelong resident of Weatherford she found her greatest joys in being a wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and reading, but above all else she loved Jesus Christ and His church. She found a loving extended family in the South Main Church of Christ where she was a member for most of her life.
Maggie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joe of fifty years. She is survived by her three children, Jan Westbrook and her husband Wesley, Kathy Chandler, and Joe Curtis and his wife Maria, one brother, Tom Brock ,and one sister, Jessica Ray, her adored grandchildren, Leslie McMillen and her husband Matthew, Jamie Chandler, Kiki Robbirds and her husband Robbie, Bethany Castleberry, Robbie Williams and Lori Chandler, great-grandchildren Harrison, Jonah, Addison and Kaleb as well as many dear friends.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day..." II Timothy 4:7.8




Funeral service 2:00 pm. Thursday at South Main Church of Christ. Interment in Curtis cemetery. Visitation 6-8 pm Wednesday at Galbreaith Pickard.
