Maggie Leta Williams, age 89, of Weatherford, died early Saturday morning, April 14, 2007. She was born March 27, 1918 in Jack County, Texas. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and member of the Couts Memorial United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Johanson and husband Conrad of East Greenwich, Rhode Island; sons, Jesse Williams and wife Barbara of Weatherford and Condy Williams and wife, Nancy of Willow Park; 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sisters, Addie Simpson of Weatherford and Lorene Tiechman of Mineral Wells; brothers, George Wood of Weatherford, Robert Wood of Jacksboro and J. W. Wood of Jacksboro. Funeral service: 2 PM Tuesday, April 17, 2007 in the Newberry Presbyterian Church with interment in the Newberry Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM on Monday, April 16, 2007 at the funeral home.
