Maggie May Peveler

Maggie May Peveler, 88 of Weatherford passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at a local nursing facility. She was born May 31, 1927 in Granbury to Walter and Attie Peveler. Maggie rebuilt car parts for many years and was the proud owner of several restaurants. She continued to work in hospital cafeterias in her golden years. Maggie was a devoted member of Annetta United Methodist Church. She loved bowling, listening to country music, going out to eat, crocheting and quilting beautiful blankets.  Maggie is survived by her sister in law. Mary Peveler; niece Judy Matthews, nephew Larry Peveler, great niece Nicole Briggs, great nephews Jessie Peveler and Paul Paybarah, great-great niece Brooklyn Briggs and great-great nephew Ty Fox.

Funeral service: 2:00pm Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Interment Annetta Cemetery. Rev Sela E. Finau will officiate. Visitation: 6-8pm Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
