Marcelle Griffin Cashion

Marcelle Griffin Cashion, 95, passed away on August 4, 2008, in Weatherford, Texas. Marcelle was born on October 2, 1912, in Concord, Texas. She married Dave Cashion on May 4, 1931, and moved to Fort Worth where she was employed for thirty years as a buyer and later as Personnel Interviewer with Montgomery Ward and Company. She was a fifty year member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church and later at First Baptist Church of Weatherford. Marcelle was devoted to God and her family. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave; son, Tommy; parents; two brothers; and three sisters. 

Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Ned Hannah of Weatherford; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Gayle Cashion of Whitehouse, Texas; five grandchildren, Leigh Anne and husband, Wayne Jones, Shelly and husband, Greg Schwartz, Chris Hannah and wife, Lana, Steven Cashion and wife, Lindsey, Robin and husband, Oscar Gonzales; and eleven great grandchildren. 

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, in Laurel Land Cemetery. 

Visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Galbreaith Pickard.
