Marcus Thomas Steadham

  Marcus Thomas Steadham departed from this life on Friday, December 15, 2023, at age 16. He was born January 30, 2007, to Ryan Steadham and Jessica (Haley) Steadham, in Weatherford, Texas, where he grew up. Marcus was a student of Weatherford High School. He enjoyed working on anything with an engine, going to the gym, skateboarding, playing video games, and valued spending time with his friends. Marcus will be remembered for his humor, friendliness, and generous spirit.

  Marcus is survived by his parents, Ryan and Jessica Steadham of Weatherford, Texas; sister, Autumn Steadham; grandparents, Raymond and Shelly Maldonado, David Haley, and Donna Cherry; aunts and uncles, Stephen Maldonado, Angela Maldonado, Tara Haley Lewis, and David Haley, Jr.; and cousins, Sean Perkins, Elisa Perkins, Kailey James Maldonado, Hunter James, Cooper Maldonado, Timothy Haley, Mackenzie Haley, and Jacob Haley.

  The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.

  A funeral service will be held at the funeral chapel on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Dan Simmons, with burial to follow at Dilbeck Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Devon Blair, Jesse Sampert, Tristan Smith, Jacob Haley, Timothy Haley, Sean Perkins, and Hunter James.
