Margaret Evelyn Todd Roberts

Margaret Evelyn Roberson Roberts Todd passed peacefully in her sleep on November 12, 2010 in Coppell, Texas.  Born to Robert Walter Roberson and Sarah Ellen Roberson on March 10, 1928, she was the youngest of nine children.  She was a member of Santa Fe Baptist Church.  Those who knew Margaret knew that she loved animals and gardens and had a green thumb that could make anything blossom and grow.  She was a nurse for many years, mostly in surgery, and was a pioneer in Fort Worth in the 1970s running the heart and lung machine at Harris Hospital.  She prided herself in healing the sick or injured which came naturally to her as she had helped her mother mid-wife as a young girl.  Margaret will be missed by her survivors including her husband, Ray Todd, son Lloyd Roberts of Lewisville, daughter Sandra Gaddis of Granbury, daughter Donna Roberts Hernandez and son-in-law Tommy Hernandez of Coppell.  In addition, she is survived by one brother, Refford Roberson of Wichita Falls, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at Galbreath Pickard Funeral Home on Monday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. with interment at Greenwood Cemetery following.
