Margaret “Louise” Bullock, 76, passed away at home Monday, April 21, 2014, in Weatherford. Born in Weatherford to Archie and Melva Densmore; Louise was the first of nine children. Riding the school bus in high school, she met Herbert Bullock. At age 17 they were married in her grandmother’s living room and spent the next 60 years together.
Herbert’s job took them to Delaware for 12 years; family took them to California for five years and eventually brought them home to Weatherford where they have spent the last 35 years.
Louise was a hard worker, family was everything to her. She worked outside the home in the restaurant industry. She volunteered to protect the community as an original member of Weatherford’s Citizens Patrol Organization. Although afraid of water, Louise loved to fish. A member of the Harmony Community she was a caregiver, a Christian, a loving mother and wife.
Louise leaves behind her husband of almost 60 years, Herbert Bullock; daughter, Nancy Gay Cargill and husband, Dwane; sons, Rusty Bullock and wife, ReVay, David Bullock and wife, Cheryl; grandchildren, Brandi Jones and husband, Stephen, Ricky Bullock and wife, Kim, Steven Cargill and wife, Janna, Joey Cargill and wife, Jessica, Boston Bullock and wife, Gennie, and Bryant Bullock; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Glen Densmore and wife, Kathy, Tootsie Miller and husband, Shorty, Lloyd Densmore, Ann Loran and husband, Ralph, Joyce Butler, Kathy Sue Oldham, Ray Densmore and wife, Trish, and Wayne Densmore and wife, Louann; sisters in law, Juanita Thomas, Nita Hall, and Sue Abney.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; twin baby boys, Kenneth Dwayne and Herbert Wayne; and sisters in law, Lucille Yagge and Linda Densmore.
A visitation will be Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral will be Friday, April 25, 2014, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, at 2:00 p.m.
