Marguerite Emily Madden

March 27, 1934 — August 19, 2015

Marguerite Emily “Nannie” Madden, 81, of Weatherford, passed away early Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Holland Lake Nursing in Weatherford, Texas.
Services celebrating her life will be held at 7:00 P.M., on Saturday, August 22, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford.   Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 until 7:00 at the funeral home.  Burial will be private at Curtis Cemetery at a later date.
Marguerite was born on March 27, 1934 in Paris, Texas to Joseph and Helen Floyd.  She had five daughters.  Marguerite worked for many years at Jamak.  She was a member of the Weatherford Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association and the Quilters Guild.  She was known for wearing her white blouses.  Additionally, she was known for her loved of kitties and enjoyed all types of music Marguerite is survived by her daughters, Patricia Matlock Finn, Daveenya Stone, Juelya Madden, and Lora Madden; sister, Mary Helen Boswell and husband; brother-in-law, George Stell; and by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her many friends.
In addition to her parents, Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, David Madden; daughter, Eborah Siddiq; 3 brothers and two sisters. 
Her family wishes to express gratitude for Marguerite’s excellent medical care to Dr. Page at the Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders, the Weatherford Regional Medical Center, Dr. Doan and Dr. Oseni; and the staff at Holland Lake Nursing Home.  
 


Visitation - Saturday, August 22; 6 until 7:00 PM - Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel
Memorial Service - Saturday 7:00 PM
Interment - Private
