Marie Benham Maddox

Marie Maddox, 93, of Brock passed away Tuesday January 18, 2011 in the local hospital. Mrs. Maddox was born November 29, 1917 in Anson, Texas to Clyde and Mary Carnes Benham. A resident of Parker County for many years, Marie was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Brock. She is preceded in death by her husband Ewell Maddox, parents, three sisters and one brother. Survivors include, daughters, Marjorie King and husband Max of Brock and Janice Billman and husband Jimmy of Red Oak; son, Gary Maddox and wife Cindy of Fort Worth; six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren; brothers, Gailard Benham of Weatherford, Ellis Benham and wife Peggy of Bridgeport and Kenneth Benham and wife Mary of Spring Branch.
 
Funeral: 11 AM, Friday, January 21, 2011 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jesse Tunnell officiating. Interment: 3 PM, Friday in the Fairview Cemetery in Tuxedo, Texas. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Thursday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
