Marie Whitney Clark

Marie Whitney Clark age 80 of Weatherford, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday morning April 8, 2010.  Marie was born September 4, 1929 in Deport, Texas to Albert and Dessie Whitney. She grew up in the Chapel Hill Community near Parris, Texas where she met and married Scott Clark.  Marie was a resident of Weatherford for almost 60 years,  she retired from Sears and Roebuck after 20 yrs and worked along side her husband Scott running Scotty’s Exxon. She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Scott Clark, her parents, three brothers and one sister.
 
Survivors: Daughters, Kay Clark of Fort Worth, Jan Moore of Aledo, five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
 
 
Graveside service 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2010 in the East Greenwood Cemetery.
