Marilyn Lynn Smith

Marilyn Lynn Smith, age 70, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Medical City of Weatherford. Marilyn was born August 9, 1952 in Mineral Wells, Texas, to William Cruce and Ruby (Cotner) Cruce. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Marilyn loved being a homemaker, and she enjoyed volunteering at local schools to help with children.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, James Allen Smith of Weatherford, Texas; son, Steven Smith and wife, Lynn of Euless, Texas; son, Michael Smith and wife, Janna of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Amy Lancaster and husband, Joel of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Melissa Herringer and husband, Jerry of Weatherford, Texas; brother, Marvin Cruce of Weatherford, Texas; sister, Jean Cook of Chandler, Texas; sister, Melba Clinton of Weatherford, Texas; five grandchildren, Tristan, Jay, Skyler, Chrislyn, and Colby; and numerous loving family and friends.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at the Spring Creek Cemetery, Weatherford, Texas 76087.
