Marion D. Goff

  Marion D. Goff, 81, of Weatherford, Texas, entered his heavenly home on Monday, November 18, 2024. Born January 2, 1943, in Odessa, Texas, to Amos W. and Thelma (Duncan) Goff, Marion was a man of unwavering faith and a devoted family man.

  In 1972, Marion married Angela Sanders, and together they shared 52 wonderful years, creating a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

  Marion built a distinguished career as a safety engineer in the oil industry, dedicating himself to ensuring the well-being of others. Outside of work, he was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and found joy in fishing and spending quality time with his family.

  He was preceded in death by his son, Amos Wesley Goff; his parents, Amos and Thelma Goff; and his brother, Loyd A. Goff.

  Marion is survived by his loving wife, Angela Goff of Weatherford; sons, Scott Goff and wife, Ardelia, Rodney Hamilton and wife, Krissy, and Jason Goff and wife, Barbie. His legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren, Christopher and Justin Hamilton, Kody, Michael, and Carson Goff, and Calvin and Kade Schmalz; as well as his great-grandchildren, Sienna-Rose Hamilton, and June, Teague, Tate, River, and Lakyn Schmalz.

  A memorial service celebrating Marion’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel, 4941 I-20 Service Road, in Willow Park, Texas.

  Marion will be remembered for his steadfast faith, his devotion to family, and the many lives he enriched throughout his journey.
