Lucille loved her church, Grace Baptist, where she was a charter member and involved until her passing. She lived in White Settlement for over 60 years, active in her community as a coach, and a great cheerleader for many. Lucille created lifelong friendships and memories through her unforgettable love for those around her and boisterous personality. She was an avid sports fan all her life, ran the Cherry shoe store in the 70’s, and enjoyed painting. Lucille loved TCU and many benefitted from her and Charles’ years as season ticket holders. Grandkids ruled a significant portion of her life as she was sure to be present for any and all activities. Granny was your biggest champion and you didn’t have to see her to know she was there.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stringer; son, Gary Stringer; and parents, Vergie & Claude Fowler
Lucille is survived by her daughter, Michelle Hudspeth and husband Mike; daughter-in-law, Luanne Stringer; grandchildren, Jeffrey Ward, wife Taylor, and sons Graham and Dawson; Kevin Ward and daughter Lillie Lionberger; Samantha Elder, Husband John, and children Jackstin and Violet; Wesley Myrick and wife Elise; Sister Carol Bailey and husband Buddy and many loved family members and friends.
