Marjorie E. (McCarty) Pardo, 83, of Weatherford, died Sunday, May 13, 2007 in a Fort Worth hospital. Born November 4, 1923 in St. Petersburg, Florida a resident of Weatherford for many years. Marjorie was a retired sales clerk for Perry’s Department store, a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors: Husband, Chris Pardo of Weatherford; son, Fred McCarty and wife Su of Weatherford; step sons; Raymond Q. Pardo of Weatherford, Chris Pardo Jr. of Abilene and Jay Pardo of Abilene; step daughter, Doris Pardo of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, Christopher McCarty of Houston and Joyce Heitmiller and husband Larry of Saginaw; three step grandchildren, Monquica, Apryl and Chantz; one great granddaughter, Whitney; six step great grandchildren; Courtney, Cody, Dyamond, Tymon, Makayla and Logan; one step great, great granddaughter, Lacie and a sister, Marie Coleman.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2007 in the New Hope Baptist Church. Interment East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
