Mark Alan Brown, 69, of Weatherford, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at his residence. Mark was born April 10, 1951, in East Chicago, Indiana, to Walter and Marilyn Isaacs Brown.

He proudly served as Military Police and a mine sweeper for the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam War. Although he lived in Southern California for many years, Mark was a cowboy at heart and longed for the “Texas Lifestyle.” After moving to Texas, he began helping Double D Horse Rescue.

Mark was an old fashion, honorable man of his word that believed in the bond of a handshake. He will be remembered for his Christian values, being a comedian and family clown, and for his love of animals, especially his horse, Lenny.

Mark is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughter, Angela Pearre of Weatherford; sons, Jimmy Brown of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Kenny Brown of Mentone, California, Cesar Naal of Springtown, and Gehric Naal of Weatherford; 15 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and his mother-in-law, whom he referred to as Ma, Patricia Poston of Weatherford.
