Mark Byron McMurry

Mark McMurry passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014. Mark was a Real Estate Attorney for the Army Corp of Engineers in Fort Worth and Dallas and a devoted member of Westside Unitarian Universalist Church. He was a loving father, loyal friend and animal lover.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Betty Jean and Melville Bond McMurry and sister, Melanie Beth McMurry.
Survivors include his son, Bodhi Jameson McMurry; sister, Malinda McMurry and husband, Geoffrey Gearner; nieces, Olivia and Clarissa Gearner.  He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
A sincere thanks goes out to Mark's devoted friends at Westside Unitarian Universalist Church and the Army Corps of Engineers, and his friends affectionately known as the "Trash Monkeys" for their help and support.


Funeral: 2 PM Thursday, Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 12:30 PM until service time. Memorials may be made in Marks name to Human Rights Campaign, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or American Cancer Society.
