Martha Cox

Martha Cox, age 74, of Weatherford, died Friday morning, December 31, 2010 in the local hospital.  Born January 24, 1936 in Parker County, where she had lived all her life.  She was a homemaker and member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ. Martha loved working in her yard and was known for having an immaculate yard. She was an excellent seamstress and cook.  She was preceded in death by her husband Russell Cox, in 1999.  Survivors: two daughters, Jo Lynn Harris and husband, Steve of Agnes and Phyllis Termin and husband, Ben of Weatherford; sisters, Elizabeth Losey of Mt. Pleasant, Mona Jones of Plano and Nellie Crews of Fort Worth; brothers, William Edward Crews, Jr. of Fort Worth and Joe Crews of Weatherford; two grandsons, Ty and Zach Burns; two step-grandchildren, Michae and Benjamin; step great grandchild, Mason; numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Graveside service will be held at 2 PM, Monday, January 3, 2011 in the Bethesda Cemetery.   Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Sunday Jan. 2. at the funeral home.
