Martha Memaw Elizabeth Ritter

Martha Elizabeth Ritter "Memaw", 70, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 13, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.  Born August 9, 1943 to Tilmon and Pauline Cohron in Olney, Tx; Martha was one of 5 children.  Martha resided in Weatherford, TX close to family and worked for the Aledo Independent School District as a Special Needs Bus Monitor.  She was an avid bingo player, loved shopping, and adored her rose garden.  Martha was an amazing woman and an example of strength and love, devoting her life to working hard, helping others, and enjoying time with her family. 

Martha leaves behind her daughters Linda Green and husband Jim, Penny Morgan and spouse Shorty; her sister Uleta Walker and husband Raymond; her six grandchildren Tiffney Frazier, Cody Pierce, Amanda Pierce, Kaden Green, Dakota Morgan, and J.W. Ford; 6 beautiful great grandchildren; and her beloved dog and best friend, Skip.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, her son Toy Edward Carter, her sister Barbara Robinson and husband Charles, and her brothers W.T. Cohron and wife Ruth, and Cicero Cohron and wife Bolena.

Martha's
Homecoming will be celebrated graveside at 2:30pm Thursday, December
19, 2013 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Weatherford, TX.

Visitation will
be held Wednesday, December 18th, from 6-8pm at Galbreaith Pickard
Funeral Chapel.
