Marvinetta Whisenhunt Herzig, 82, of Weatherford, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007 in a local nursing center. Born August 25, 1924 in Salesville, Texas she was a retired nurse mostly with family healthcare and a member of Hilltop Baptist Church. Her husband John Dee Whisenhunt, daughter, Beverly Tigrett and grandson, Danny Tigrett precede her in death. Survivors: Daughters – Reta Jo Murrell and husband David of Carthage Annetta Wood and husband Jerry of Fort Worth Son in law – Danny Tigrett of Weatherford Sister in law – Doris Davis of Mineral Wells Six grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in Perrin Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
