Mary E. Bullock

  It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mary E. Bullock, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who departed this life on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the age of 88.

  Mary was born on May 27, 1936, in Graham, Texas, to Aaron and Essie (Cole) Barnett. She dedicated much of her working life to bookkeeping, a profession she held until her retirement. A woman of deep faith, Mary was a devoted member of North Main Church of God in Weatherford, Texas, where she found joy and fellowship with her church family for many years.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Essie Barnett; her husband, Ralph E. Bullock; her children, Darrell Lee Proffitt and Gloria J. Proffitt; and her sisters, Lois Ward and Frances Clark.

  Mary’s memory will be cherished by her daughters, Donna J. Graves, Patty Jackson and husband, Mark, and June Elaine Bullock; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

  A graveside service to honor and celebrate Mary’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Memory Gardens of The Valley Perpetual Care Cemetery, 5600 Mineral Wells Hwy, Weatherford, Texas 76088.
