Mary Estalyne Buxton

Mary Estalyne Hebert Buxton, 84, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017, at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on January 1, 1933 to Paul Troxell Hebert and Mary Estalyne Skelley Hebert.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., on Monday, April 24, at Greenwood Baptist Church in Weatherford. Burial follow at East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 until 5, Sunday, at the funeral home.

Mary graduated with a BSN in nursing from TCU. She married the love of her life, Bill Buxton on May 22, 1959. She was steadfast, loyal and generous to her loved ones. After Bill’s passing she continued to manage the family land and helped with her brother Howard as a sister, confident and medical advisor.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, P.T. and Mary Hebert; brothers, Howard Lee Hebert, Skelley Hebert, and George Edward Hebert; sisters, Sarah Pond, Paulyne Rice, and Josephyne Strain; niece, Cheryl Isbill; loving husband, Bill Buxton and daughter, Chris Svoboda.

Survivors: daughter Kathlene Eagleton and husband, Kenneth; son, William Buxton and wife, Terri; grandchildren, Jenifer Curlis, David Svoboda, Kortnye Eagleton, Kyle Eagleton, Becky Conway, Julie Buxton, Susan Buxton, Amie Miller, Payton Blackman, and Hunter Blackman; great-grandchildren, Claire, Hailey, Cooper, Hudson, William, Bradley, Corbie, Malachai, Brayden, Kendall, Nolan, Morgan and Miles; and many other loving family members and friends.
