Mary McLin

Mary McLin, 56, of Mineral Wells, passed away early on Friday, November 13, 2015, at Harris Hospital SW in Fort Worth. Mary was born on June 5, 1959, in Houston, Texas.  She enjoyed working on cars and was a self-proclaimed “Shade Tree Mechanic.”  Mary could always make “good light of a bad situation.”  She enjoyed playing card games and working puzzle books.  She enjoyed cats and was considered to be a mother to many.  Most of all, Mary cherished time spent with her family – particularly her children and grandchildren.  Mary is survived by her children, Misty Holden, Mark Chavez, Brad Newland, Martha McLin, Tony McLin and wife April, Ashley McLin, Jennifer Romines and husband Tony, and Lacie McCloud; brothers, Kenneth McLin, Jason Johnson, James Phillips, Deanie McLin, and Billy McLin; sisters, Wanda McLin, Pam Elam and husband Terry and Rune Smack; and by her father, Billy McLin; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.  Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Nell Johnson, a sister Elsie Phillips, her grandmothers, Grandma Ruth and Mary Fields and her uncle Robert Chaney.

A visitation will be held from 6 until 8 PM, on Monday, November 16, at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford.
