Mary Lou (Rosenberger) Morris, age 83, departed from this life on Friday, February 14, 2025. Born May 15, 1941, in Dayton, Ohio, Mary Lou brought warmth, humor, and unwavering support to those who knew her.
Mary Lou pursued her education with passion, earning a master’s degree that bolstered her successful career as an accountant. Her professionalism and attention to detail made her an asset in her field, while her kindness and generosity continued to touch the lives of many.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband, James R. Morris of Weatherford, Texas; sister, Eileen Bradley; children, Joseph (Laura) Morris, Lisa (Mike) Comtois, and Angela (William) Kurtz; and grandchildren, Maddie, Rob, Gracie, Sophie, Jack, and Matthew.
Throughout her life, Mary Lou was a devoted wife and mother, and she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, who carry forward her values and spirit. She holds a special place in the hearts of her loving family members.
Mary Lou was a devout Christian and was unwavering in her faith. When faced with challenging times, she responded with humor and a positive attitude, always ready to accept the Lord’s will. Whenever needed, she was quick to offer words of encouragement and support.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, in Weatherford, Texas. The service will begin at 2:00 p.m., with James Plowman officiating.
