Mary Ruth Singleton, 83, of Perrin, died May 23, 2010 in a local nursing home. She was born March 29, 1927 in Clovis, New Mexico to Joseph and Sina Mae Watson Hale. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Perrin. She enjoyed collecting arrowheads, rocks, and playing gospel music and guitar.
Survivors include her daughters: Mary George of Chico and Linda Lawrence of Mineral Wells; sons: Larry Singleton, Richard Singleton, both of Perrin, and John Lynn Singleton of Gordon; a brother: Jody Hale of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Steven Singleton, Johnnie Singleton, Leslie Singleton, Sarah George, James Singleton, Kim Stachowiaks, Grant George, Christy Singleton, Dusty Singleton, Jennifer Singleton, Rebecca Singleton, Jessica Lawrence, Kaylynn Singleton, and great-grandchildren, Jayden and Ty Stachowiaks. She was preceded in death by her son: Keith Singleton and husband: T. F. Singleton.
Services will be 10 AM, Wednesday, May 26, 2010, in Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Perrin Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
