Mary Lorene Stults

  Mary Lorene Stults, age 94, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, August 18, 2024. Born on May 8, 1930, in Weatherford, Texas, she was the daughter of Cleveland Trayler and Della (Williams) Trayler. 

  Mary dedicated much of her life to being a loving homemaker. She had a passion for music and sweets, and her affectionate nature extended to her love for cats. Mary enjoyed exploring her surroundings, often taking spontaneous drives that would lead her to Braum's for ice cream. In her younger days, she cherished attending dances at the Springtown Senior Center and remained active, riding the Senior Bus to fitness classes throughout her life. Remarkably, she held onto her driver’s license well into her 90s. 

  In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Stults, and grandchildren, Delaynna Diane Stults and Mandy Gail Stults. 

  Mary is survived by her son, Charley Stults and wife, Linda; daughter, Sarah Ann Roark; son, Ronald Ray Stults and wife, Teresa; and son, Joey Don Stults and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Dusty Stults and wife, Amanda, Rodney Prachyl, Samantha Dawn Calixtro and husband, Rey, and Jessica Jade Neighbors and husband, Brandon; and great-grandchildren, Reylee Jewelz Calixtro, André Joseph Calixtro, and Sebastian Cruz Calixtro. 

  A graveside service honoring Mary will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, August 23, 2024, at East Greenwood Cemetery, in Weatherford, Texas. 

  Her warmth, spirit, and love for adventure will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
